In Xanadu, under a snow-covered juniper bush laid a small burned human body. Not that of a child, but a wooden doll - very ugly one. Overtime small creaks came from it as came slowly regenerated back to life. Shielded from view, what few were out in the cold, neither saw nor heard anything.

Where at?!

The doll sat-up and rotated its head, taking in the greenery surrounding it. Last place remembered was indoors, big place where many things big people looked at. Put in burning water by woman in white coat.

Gleam of metal caught the doll's glass bead eye. Moving towards it, picked-up the steak knife. The large pointed tooth mouth worked-up into a smile. This weapon was favorite, much better than spear. Good to have again!

Noticed something else, a small flat black box

What this?!

Poked at the mystery box with the knife's point. Somehow knowing there would be answers within. Popped suddenly open, but the doll didn't rush in attack at the strange sight revealed.

Moved-in cautiously, glass bead eyes peering closely at the bright colors with words. Sat crouched down before the the 'magic book', for several hours. Taking in the information, learning how to work the buttons.

With a nod, the doll shut the magic book. Time to go.

In the City, people stared at the sight moving along the sidewalk. The ugly wooden doll with long black hair and mouth full of pointed teeth, steak knife at its side, tiny laptop under an arm. Little over a foot tall, stride and confidence made it appear twelve feet. Some recognized the doll, others did not, but the reaction was all the same - everyone got the hell out of the way.

Puffed with pride at instilling awe and fear into the big people, He Who Kills let himself laugh aloud.
